First things first, the 'Go crazy Lobster Mac & Cheese' was an absolutely winning combination, even my boyfriend who is probably worlds fussiest eater, tried it and thought it was nice. I could have quite happily eaten that with a side salad and been done, awesome dish.

The new dirty nachos were also pretty damn good too. Fresh, tasty and with some cheesy goodness meant they were perfect starter material to the B&L experience.

I was lucky enough to try a bit of everything off their new menu, and I have to say that the main which really blew my mind was the smoked Brisket roll. To be honest, all of the rolls are delicious but this one was something else, and at a bargain of £8 you really can't go wrong. Accompany it with some of their crispy sweet potato fries and you've got yourself a meal fit for a king.

While I was there I also tried some of their funky cocktails, my favourite had to be the Velour Tracksuit (£7) which was a tangy combination of Beefeater gin, green apple cordial, falernum and bitters.

For dessert we went for the crème brûlée & the chocolate brownie, now, we were fairly stuffed by this point but for blogs sake we gave them a try... strictly for blog purposes only... The crème brûlée was a zesty passionfruit combination and the crumbly brownie was lovingly covered in melting ice cream... mmmm.... It's safe to say we both left feeling like we didn't need to eat for a week. Next time I go back I definitely want to try the meringue sharer dessert as that looked epic!

Massive thanks to the Burger & Lobster team for making us feel so welcome - especially to Ben & Chloe. Fantastic and chatty staff always help make a place that extra bit special.
