The Stable Restaurant Review (Cardiff)

The Stable opened its Cardiff doors back in Christmas 2015, offering its charming varieties of ciders, pizza and pies to the Welsh crowd. I was invited to see what the fuss was about recently:
Originated in Dorset, the Stable initially started as an empty stable that Richard and Nicky Cooper wanted to do something with. Fine food and crafted cider set within an alluring atmosphere was the dream, and I think it's safe to say they have achieved that...
The menu includes pizzas such as The Longhorn Jim, The Blue Pearl, and The Fiery Dragon. The pie selection consists of The Steak Out, The Wild Rooster and many more. View Cardiff's full menu here.

I got to take over the kitchen in my recent visit and make my own pizza with the skilled chefs! I went for The Billy The Kid, which is Y Cwt Caws goats’ cheese feta, caramelised onions, field mushrooms, English spinach, fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella, topped with roasted hazelnuts... Mmmm!
With a laid back vibe and a crazy amount of ciders to choose from, this place really does offer a nice environment to sit down with some friends and laugh the night away! They've also got a pretty moreish Nutella Pizza Pudding to complete your meal!

Big thanks to the stable team for inviting me and letting me run wild in the kitchen!
