Drayton Manor Review

I visited Drayton Manor theme park with work (Lumix UK) for a team building and training day, in which we were put in their hotel for an overnight stay and then had a few hours at the park. As I grew up in Worcestershire this is the theme park I used to visit with school so I was interested to see how much it had changed.

I've been blogging for just over 2 years and so I'm always behind the camera trying to capture things, but on Wednesday I decided to mix things up a bit and film my day to London to show you what we get up to, which includes a visit to Smollesky's and a ride on City Cruises!

Everything You Need to Know About Thorpe Park's Fright Nights!

Halloween has crept up on us and it's hard to avoid this year if you're not one for celebrating All Hallow's Eve. But if you're like me and thrive off a scare or two then you may be tempted to try one of the UK's theme parks for their 'Fright Night' experience during the spooktacula month of October. I tested Thorpe Park in Surrey to see what they had to offer, read on for my review..

Now, of course you're not going to travel all the way to Thorpe Park just to go on one of their Halloween rides, so I've spoken about the other rides too and given you my top tips for making the most of your day at the park!

Cosmeston Lake Country Park (South Wales)

Cosmeston Lake Country Park is somewhere I've been past and heard of, but never explored properly, and so given that it was also recommend to me recently, I thought it would be nice to pay it a visit. The site has been open for 37 years, and gained 'local nature reserve' status in May 2013. Click HERE for directions to this fantastic spot.

Penarth Cliff Walk (South Wales)

I recently did the Caerphilly mountain walk, that featured amazing views overlooking Caerphilly castle and the opposing mountains. This walk is a complete contrast, yes it's high up, but the views are of the channel, facing towards Bristol, and with Penarth Pier in the distance.

Beach Day Trip to Barry Island!

It's February - Let's go ahead and give ourselves a pat on the back for surviving January! It's always a tough month, with New Years Resolutions haunting us and winter still lingering, not forgetting the daily dread of going back to work while still feeling the affects of Christmas... But then comes along February, the gateway to Spring, the reassurance that we can start fresh and still achieve all the things we had hoped for by the end of the year. The forgiving month. February. One reason why I wanted to start a blog was to experience new places, appreciate old places and combine my passion with my lifestyle. That's exactly what I did yesterday
