Brushbox in a Nutshell

No matter who you are, I'm sure (or hope) that something you do on a daily basis is brush your teeth! Having clean and healthy teeth is not only important to keep gum disease and plaque at bay, but teeth hygiene also impacts your general health.  Did you know that brushing your teeth regularly can help you avoid heart disease?! Well it can, so when Brushbox emailed me to see if I'd be interested in trying out what they offer I jumped at the chance!

Relax at Ener-chi

In an ideal world December means listening to Michael BublĂ© while beautifully wrapping presents and getting ready to celebrate this joyous holiday... Unfortunately there is usually a bit more stress involved, not to mention copious amounts of cellotape getting stuck to the side of the table in the process. Ener-chi take a different approach as they look to make this year as stress-free as possible for their clients. Watch the Christmas video that Explore with Ed and I produced for them...

Lush Summer Collection 2015

I was invited to Lush in Cardiff last night to celebrate the launch of some new products and to find out why they are telling us to 'get naked this summer'. Although I'm not strictly a beauty blogger, I do love a good pamper session, and the idea of getting to take photos inside such a vibrant and pretty shop really got me excited!

Behind the Scenes at the Lola and Me Shoot

I was lucky enough to get invited to the Lola and Me photoshoot over the weekend, along with the very talented photographer Lisa-Jane, the video production company Spin the Yarn, some gorgeous models (Sarah, Courtney and Sarah) and an excellent makeup team (Milly, Natasha and Emily), as well as the lovely Kath who was the reflector queen for the day!

Penarth Light Display - Celebrating 150 Years!

Although I'm originally from the lovely English county of Worcestershire, I have lived in South Wales since attending university here in 2010. I have really grown to love Wales, it has so much to offer and such a variety of scenery. I particularly love the way that they celebrate and embrace the history, which is exactly what happened on Wednesday 4th March in Penarth...

Cosmeston Lake Country Park (South Wales)

Cosmeston Lake Country Park is somewhere I've been past and heard of, but never explored properly, and so given that it was also recommend to me recently, I thought it would be nice to pay it a visit. The site has been open for 37 years, and gained 'local nature reserve' status in May 2013. Click HERE for directions to this fantastic spot.

Beach Day Trip to Barry Island!

It's February - Let's go ahead and give ourselves a pat on the back for surviving January! It's always a tough month, with New Years Resolutions haunting us and winter still lingering, not forgetting the daily dread of going back to work while still feeling the affects of Christmas... But then comes along February, the gateway to Spring, the reassurance that we can start fresh and still achieve all the things we had hoped for by the end of the year. The forgiving month. February. One reason why I wanted to start a blog was to experience new places, appreciate old places and combine my passion with my lifestyle. That's exactly what I did yesterday
