Tempus at Tides Restaurant Review

I was invited to try out the new à la carte menu at the Tempus at Tides restaurant in the beautiful St David's hotel, overlooking Cardiff Bay. It just so happened to time perfectly with my mums birthday so I took her along to try it too!

Hendricks Afternoon Tea at Park Plaza Review (Cardiff)

I was invited to try out Park Plaza's Hendricks Gin afternoon tea last week, and as I had just done my theory that morning (and passed!) I was in need of a celebratory drink and a relaxing atmosphere... Which is precisely what Park Plaza provided me with... (Oh and some delicious nibbles)

Relax at Ener-chi

In an ideal world December means listening to Michael Bublé while beautifully wrapping presents and getting ready to celebrate this joyous holiday... Unfortunately there is usually a bit more stress involved, not to mention copious amounts of cellotape getting stuck to the side of the table in the process. Ener-chi take a different approach as they look to make this year as stress-free as possible for their clients. Watch the Christmas video that Explore with Ed and I produced for them...

Cosmeston Lake Country Park (South Wales)

Cosmeston Lake Country Park is somewhere I've been past and heard of, but never explored properly, and so given that it was also recommend to me recently, I thought it would be nice to pay it a visit. The site has been open for 37 years, and gained 'local nature reserve' status in May 2013. Click HERE for directions to this fantastic spot.

Penarth Cliff Walk (South Wales)

I recently did the Caerphilly mountain walk, that featured amazing views overlooking Caerphilly castle and the opposing mountains. This walk is a complete contrast, yes it's high up, but the views are of the channel, facing towards Bristol, and with Penarth Pier in the distance.

Maple Syrup, Bacon, & Poached Egg Bagel

I discovered this recipe a few years ago in a brunch cookbook, and ever since I have been in love with it! It's easy, fairly quick to do and so yummy! It's perfect as a special occasion breakfast/brunch, and with Valentine's day approaching, I thought I would give it a share!
If you end up making this then please comment and let me know how you got on!
