The Christmas Bucket List That Everyone Should Do

It's the most wonderful time of the year... It sure is, so savour every moment and enjoy it. I've put together some things that you should try to do this season!

Go Ice Skating

This one is pretty do-able no matter where you are, whether it's on a frozen lake, your city ice rink or local Winter Wonderland, give it a go and you might just surprise yourself once you get over the initial fear. However if you're truly not feeling it, then why not watch an ice hockey game instead.

Buy (or wear your previous) Christmas Jumper

It's almost scientifically impossible to feel like scrooge when you are wearing one of those fluffy things!

Build a Snowman

Unfortunately if you want to build a real snowman then you'll have to be one of those lucky people who get a white Christmas. But you can always build one out of food, watch this cool video for a yummy snowman.

Our Homemade Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownies (For those who don't like mince pies)

Bake Something

Gingerbread house, Mince pies, Cookies, Brownies, Christmas Pudding... Whatever takes your fancy, just give it a go and make it with someone. Not only will it be a fun memory with a loved one, but it'll also be a tasty treat (well, hopefully!)

Send Christmas Cards

I'm not sure if this is seen as old fashioned these days? But I love writing my Christmas cards out and sending them to friends and family, I also love receiving them so feel free to write me one out ;)

Indulge in a Hot Chocolate or Festive Treat

I'm all about the eggnog lattes and gingerbread lattes this year! What hot drink has got you keeping warm this winter?

Watch a Christmas Movie

If you're struggling with choosing one then take a look at my top 10 Christmas Films here.

Put Some Twinkly Lights On or Light a Candle

I love fairy lights and candles no matter what time of year, but especially during the Christmas season. There's something magical about shimmering lights <3

Give Back

We're so busy having an amazing time that it's easy to forget about less fortunate people, try to give back this year and donate any unwanted gifts or write a Christmas card to a care home or hospital. It will only take a few minutes but it'll mean the world to someone else.

Have A Wood Fire

You may have one in your house, or local pub, why not pull up a chair and soak in that lovely warmth while you sip your hot chocolate (...or mulled wine..)

Be Grateful

It can be a little overwhelming over Christmas so when you get a minute to yourself think about a few things you're grateful for and smile :)

How many of these have you done already this year? Do you have your own bucket list for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. On this special event, different people manage different programmes according to their budget and capacity. Some people prepare delicious food and some go to outside with family members or friends. According to the writers of coursework writing services we should spend this day with comfort and provide food to poor and needy persons.
