On Saturday the station approach was brought to life by the second annual Picnic Penarth food festival! I was privileged enough to be part of the organisers along with fellow food blogger Kitchen Clonc.

With a couple thousand attendees visiting the picnic over the weekend it certainly was a busy one, even with the a slightly chilly Saturday and the RHS Flower Show on just a few miles away.

I caught up with Alice Turner (organiser of the event) to find out her thoughts on the festival:
"Organising Picnic Penarth is such a privilege as it is a real collaborative effort, from the vendors, to the local community pitching in and we love showing what foodie talent there is in South Wales and bringing people to Penarth for a fun weekend of music, dancing, hula-hooping and food and drink." ![]() |

Everything is looking so tempting, These kinds of picnics should happen every year. My friend also planning a picnic I would love to show them this idea and try to make uur picnic more enjoyable. Thank you for your post.
