A quick (and cheap) way to get instant cosy-ness in your room is with some fairy lights. You can pick these up online, or in most shops these days! I bought mine from Matalan for £8, or there's a version for £4. I personally prefer the warm white light, but you can go for the cool white ones if you want a cooler (but still snug) feel. I also add a few scented candles around my bedroom to make it that extra bit welcoming.
Another fairly easy and inexpensive way of updating your bedroom is by changing your bedding. I've got some themed Christmas bedding from Asda, and I've also got plain white bedding which matches virtually everything and always looks Instagram ready (what more could a girl want hey?!)
Picking up some accessories will make a huge difference to your bedroom vibe, I managed to spot some cute items in Primark, New Look and John Lewis to spice up my bedroom and make it that bit more personal (and of course Christmassy).
If you want to take your bedroom to the next step then you could update your mattress for the ultimate comfort. Fishpools have a fantastic range of mattresses to choose from, including memory foam ones, some of which are part of their Autumn sale!
