My Dream Magnum

Magnum got in touch with me recently and asked me to think about what my dream Magnum would be if I could add anything to their velvety ice creams... After some thought I put together these mouth watering combinations which are hands down my ultimate toppings, including one which is perfect for a Christmas themed treat. Read on to discover what they are...

1) White Chocolate, Caramel & Almonds.

This easy peasy topping is a generous spread of salted caramel sauce and with a sprinkling of almond pieces!

2) Banana, Peanut Butter & Classic Milk Chocolate.

I love peanut butter, so adding it to a magnum just makes complete and utter sense! I then topped it with two slices of banana!

3) Honey, Goji Berries, Pistachios and White Chocolate.

I tried to go for a slightly healthier option on my next creation, the interesting texture of the goji berries adds a unique combination to the crunchy ice cream and pistachios. The honey acts as the glue and also a nice little sweetener!

4) Milk Chocolate with Caramel & Coconut.

This one would be ideal for a Christmas party as the coconut looks like snow flakes, and the flavours work great together!

5) Eton Mess with White Chocolate.

I tried to get a little experimental with this one, I put strawberry jam at the bottom of the ice cream and then covered the jam in meringue, then I topped it with strawberry ice cream sauce!

6) Banoffee with Milk Chocolate.

This one has to be my ultimate favourite, add a dollop of the salted caramel sauce to the Magnum, add two chunks of banana on and then finish with a sprinkle of grape nuts to create the banoffee biscuit base texture!

If you could add anything onto your Magnum ice cream, what would it be? Magnum would love to know as they're putting together a Dream Magnum section on their website which is a visual celebration of some of the most creative toppings!
