My Skydive Experience!

First of all let me just say a massive thank you to everyone who supported me in this and helped raise the money! I raised over £420 in total, which I think is pretty impressive as I didn't think I'd raise more than a £5er! haha. This review is of a beautiful cafe located in the heart of Penarth. The Washington. If you live local to the area then you've probably seen this place plenty of times as it's a pretty eye catching building. It has been on my 'to go' list for a good while now!

Cosmeston Lake Country Park (South Wales)

Cosmeston Lake Country Park is somewhere I've been past and heard of, but never explored properly, and so given that it was also recommend to me recently, I thought it would be nice to pay it a visit. The site has been open for 37 years, and gained 'local nature reserve' status in May 2013. Click HERE for directions to this fantastic spot.

Penarth Cliff Walk (South Wales)

I recently did the Caerphilly mountain walk, that featured amazing views overlooking Caerphilly castle and the opposing mountains. This walk is a complete contrast, yes it's high up, but the views are of the channel, facing towards Bristol, and with Penarth Pier in the distance.

Maple Syrup, Bacon, & Poached Egg Bagel

I discovered this recipe a few years ago in a brunch cookbook, and ever since I have been in love with it! It's easy, fairly quick to do and so yummy! It's perfect as a special occasion breakfast/brunch, and with Valentine's day approaching, I thought I would give it a share!

The Magic Wrap (Cardiff Bay)

I've got to admit, I'm no wrap fanatic, but I am partial to a good wrap every so often. So, while I was tweeting away, a good friend of mine Jamie (Check out Explore With Ed here) re-tweeted Magic Wrap's tweet which caught my attention. What is a 'Magic Wrap'?? I was so curious that I stopped what I was doing and marched to the Bay, camera in hand while fighting against the strong winds. We were up against the elements but no-one was going to take this 'Magic Wrap' away from me.
